If you are a cycling enthusiast, Winter Park Cycles is the store for you!
As you can see, we like to focus on the harder-to-find brands or, as we like to say, "the cool stuff." We aren't bike snobs by any means, we just know there is a lot more out there than Trek, Specialized, and Cannondale. Really, why ride what everyone else does?

What's special about us?

• We have the stuff you won't see in other shops. The hard to find stuff. The cool stuff.
• We are an authorized dealer for every brand in our store. That means warranty support, if you need it.
• We are experts. Every person on our staff is an active rider and we use what we sell. If we don't like it, we don't sell it.
• We make sure that our mechanics stay certified and current with new technology and products. Your bike is also insured while it's in our care. Can your friend who works out of his garage for a six pack say that?
• We are central Florida's bike fit professionals. We will not sell you a bike that does not fit you. If you insist on a certain size, ok, but it's our goal to make sure that whatever you buy is the best bike for you.
• We have a dedicated Retul fit studio (www.TheFitLab.com), where we'll have the latest in fitting technology operated by the most accredited fit professional in FL, Adam Baskin. You can schedule a mid-day bike fit, maybe a quick ride to test the new position, and then head back to work without anyone knowing you left.
• Prices. We will match, or beat, any other legitimate retailer's price on similar item. Simply bring us their estimate and we'll beat it.

We are currently operating in the old Glory Cycles building at 831 N. Mills Avenue, but will be moving to our permanent location at 3014 Corrine Drive, as soon as the store is complete. The new place will be quite a change. It'll be smaller, at first, but the feel will be unlike anything else in the Central Florida area.

Our hope is to be in our new Corrine Drive space next door to B3 Cafe (B3Cafe.com) in August. In the meantime, stop by and see us at Mills Ave.

The Owner
Ward Bates - A rider for over 25 years (wood-soled Duegis, ‘nuf said, right?) and racing in some form for most of those. Nationally ranked competitive swimmer until 19 years old, and then discovered a social life. Races as a Category 2 when family life allows, but spends most of his time in the 35+ field. 

The Guy
Darrell Cunningham (aka DC) – Although he is a fixture in the Central Florida cycling world, Darrell is relatively new to the retail world. He's ridden and raced all over the country -- and lots of other countries, as well. He's tiny, but there is a huge amount of cycling knowledge in that little body.

The Wrench
Daryl Jones (aka DJ) – The Wrench handles all things service related and he’s THE guy you want working on your bike. A top finisher in several AMBC mountain bike races across the country, he's also got over 20 years of road riding and service experience. Probably the best mechanic the area has seen, but he’s so quiet that no one knows about him. He won’t brag about his mad skillz, so we will. He was previously the head of all service for David’s World Cycles, but “wanted to get back to the basics” and actually work on bikes, again. He’s got way too many certifications to list, but believe us, he knows his way around any bike out there.

The Kid
Will Willis – His parents dropped him off at a shop when he was 12 and are coming to get him next year, we hear. In the meantime, he lives under the counter and absorbs everything. We let him out to ride occasionally, where he is a recent graduate from the Junior field to a Category 2. Looks can be deceiving and The Kid will amaze you with his knowledge of all things bike-related. He really knows way too much for someone his age and, at times, we actually get quite concerned.
